Newborn Photos

Welcome to the sweetest chapter of your story. As a newborn photographer based in Lebanon, TN, I specialize in crafting soft, heartfelt portraits that pause time — those tiny fingers, first yawns, and quiet snuggles you'll want to remember forever. I’ll guide you with gentle direction, thoughtful posing, and a calm, safe space for your little one.

Serving Nashville and the surrounding area (Mount Juliet, Hendersonville, Franklin included), every newborn session is designed with so much more than pictures in mind. It’s about capturing the delicate bond, the sleepy stillness, and the fleeting moments that become family heirlooms. With attention to detail, soft tones, and a full wardrobe + prop collection, I aim to give you images that feel as timeless as your love.

                                                  Newborn Photography FAQ's:

  • When is the best time to schedule a newborn photoshoot?
The ideal window is when your baby is between 7–14 days old. During this time, babies are sleepier and curl naturally into those sweet newborn poses and have not developed baby acne at this point.

  • How far in advance should I book my newborn session?
Most families book during their second or third trimester to secure a spot on my calendar. I only take a limited number of newborn sessions each month to allow flexibility if babies arrive early or late.

  • Do you provide props, wraps, and outfits?
Yes! I have a curated collection of newborn wraps, blankets, headbands, and props, so you don’t need to worry about bringing anything. You’re also welcome to include sentimental items like a blanket or heirloom.

  • Can parents and siblings be included in the newborn session?
Absolutely. Parents and siblings are an important part of your baby’s story, and I love capturing those first family portraits together. Check out the packages I have offer to see if they are included. Don't stress if they are not as they are only $25 to add family photos and you will receive an extra 5-10 images.

  • Where do sessions take place?
Newborn sessions can be held in my studio in Lebanon, TN, where I have access to professional lighting, props, and setups. If this sounds too daunting I would be happy to travel to your home where I can produce lifestyle photos.

  • How long does a newborn session last?
Timing of your session varies based on your package selection, but a typically session last 2–3 hours. This allows for plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and breaks. I want the experience to be calm and stress-free for both baby and parents.

  • What should we wear for family photos during the session?
I recommend neutral, soft tones that complement your baby’s delicate features. Avoid busy patterns or bright colors. I’ll guide you through outfit coordination so everyone looks timeless together.

  • Is it safe for my baby?
Yes, your baby’s safety is always my top priority. I have years of experience posing newborns safely and never force a pose. I work slowly and patiently, always following baby’s lead.

  • What if my baby is fussy or won’t sleep?
That’s completely normal! I allow plenty of time for feeding and soothing, and I have techniques for calming newborns. Awake photos are just as beautiful as sleepy ones.

  • How soon will we receive our photos?
Your gallery will be ready within 2–3 weeks after your session. I’ll deliver a mix of timeless, edited images for you to cherish and print.
