Heather's Maternity Sneak-Peek

Do you remember what you or a loved one was doing when they were 37 weeks pregnant? Probably cleaning, getting ready for the baby, or just rest and had no desire to move! Well not for this mama, she was absolutely a trooper with being so far along in her pregnancy, was bearing the heat and humidity like a champ, and never once complained! This session was incredibly fun for a couple reasons; the love and excitement between these two was beyond evident that it really made it so easy to capture on camera. We got to use the gown (which you all know is one of my favorite aspects of my job) and lastly I got to incorporate some sentimental items that were given to them, as well as the cute bee they used in their wedding, into their maternity session. Most sessions for me are just the first two things I had just mentioned, but being able to hear the stories of the meanings behind these special props is so fun for me. She will always be his Honey Bee (how cute, right??) and I got the opportunity to capture this sentiment in their relationship, even as the dynamic between them changes with the addition of a child, some things never will, and these images show that.
