There’s something so magical about fall — the crisp air, the golden leaves, and the way families naturally come together to make memories before the holidays. This sweet family’s session in the woods near Lebanon, Tennessee was full of laughter, connection, and pure joy.

From the moment we started, it was clear how close this family is. The girls were full of giggles and energy, running through the leaves and dancing under the trees. One of my favorite moments was when Dad twirled his oldest daughter in the open field — you could just feel how proud and happy he was to share that moment with her.

Mom looked absolutely radiant in her mauve dress, and the soft forest light made the perfect backdrop for their family portraits. The girls’ outfits complemented hers beautifully — navy and blush tones that worked perfectly against the earthy autumn palette.

I love capturing the in-between moments — the ones where families forget the camera is there. A sweet snuggle, a shared laugh, or the joy of tossing leaves into the air — those are the photos that tell a story.
